Express Granite is a family owned and family operated granite fabricator in the Saint Charles greater area since 2008. Our company was established to meet the need for natural stone countertops at a great price in an efficient timeframe. We are a fabricator that works with homeowners, kitchen and bath shops, designers, builders, and contractors.

Gary Takavitz, owner, has more than 40 years of experience of business and management. After a successful career in the Retail Footware Industry, Gary made the transition to the Stone Industry late in 2008. The challenge of starting a new career and a new business in tough economic times was met with hard work, and perseverance. Today Express Granite is the leading Saint Charles fabricator of natural and engineered stone.

Greg Takavitz was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and is a graduate of Christian Brothers College High School, he joined his father in the business shortly after graduating from the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business in 2009, with a degree in Business Management. He started out on the sales side of the business while learning all aspects of the stone fabrication business. He has an in-depth knowledge of stone fabrication, templating, and installation.
